Hi, I'm Miij

a fruit and vegetable enthusiast, writer, and master dinner partier.

This is Fruit & Supper

Korean-ish recipes, tips for hosting and gathering, and stories about food and homecoming

Miij is for 미진

My parents immigrated to the US from South Korea in the 1980s. I was born in New York and raised outside Philadelphia.

For me, food is a way to nourish and love

And to build a bridge of understanding between two worlds.

Fruit & Supper is the next evolution of this love expression

I'm so glad to see you here.

"However, no matter how long and costly the voyage, the act of homecoming as a “gyopo,” or a Korean American, who had never known her origins is immediately rewarding and never too late."
